We were THRILLED to hear that indigenous, a handcrafted gallery was selected as one of the American Craft Week STAR winners again this year! 

Hundreds & hundreds of art galleries & organizations across the country participated in this annual extravaganza of handmade, American craft.  Thirteen STARS were given to those who made an exceptional contribution to the celebration and we were awarded for Most Innovative Event Concept.  We thoroughly enjoy honoring the craft tradition and presenting all of the artful activities each year. Big THANK YOU goes out to all of our generous artists and patrons that make it all possible!

Out of more than 1,000 events across the U.S. celebrating American Craft, we were awarded "Most Innovative Event Concept" for our Clay Throw-Down - which included the ever-cool & talented potters from Core Clay throwing bowls for the Empty Bowls project, showing off their skills, along with a fundraiser raffle for Empty Bowls, and an all-around good time!
